Registration for classes in Ottawa are done by phoning 613-369-5013 at the Holistic Cooking Academy of Canada for the teaching chef program. For home chefs, register by phone or email the Ottawa Carleton School Board Continuing Adult Education at 613-239-2751, or call the Catholic School Board Continuing Adult Education at 613-224-2288 for our popular gluten-free classes. Registration for classes in the Greater Toronto Area is done by phone at 416-479-0676. As classes will open in eight cities in Ontario by September 2010 with fifteen graduate teaching chefs, we invite visitors to join classes conveninet to them. Call us if you want classes in your community. We are here to help families organize themselves against disease. We use all food groups and insist upon organic foods, even encouraging you to grow your own herb and vegetable gardens, and to plant your own fruit trees.
Teaching chefs that enroll for our 220 hour programs must have some real life experiences with nutrition and herbs that played a factor in your own quality lifestyle. You will lead by example and integrity showing immense respect for food. We promise that you will become adept at nutritional analysis to plan balanced meals to create blanced bodies, minds, and spirits. We provide shopping lists to buy organic foods in locations convenient to Ottawa and Toronto, and in other cities where holistic teaching chefs will be positioned through our correspondance and video distance education program.
Avoidance of pesticides and food additivies is critical in disease prevention. Open house, workshops and cooking classes are open to visitors. Single classes are $100.00 per class for a four hour class and a banquet of a six course meal. Corporate parties can be arranged in our teaching kitchens in Ottawa or Toronto by calling 1-613-369-5013.

The Distance Education Program started May 2009 with DVD videos. The entire program is 55 weeks long, and will finish by December 2010. Class notes will be emailed to you each week starting the week of registration when your post-dated checks arrive in the mail to me, or by Pay Pal on line. To control a difference pace to your learing you may tell me to send the next module. DVD's will be assessible on the website after your registration. A lifetime access number will be assigned to you.

Dr. McCuaig is a retired research scientist who was one of 200 scientists who helped create Canola oil. He also created a method of detecting levels of manganese in foods. He was formerly the National Co-ordinator fofr Food Safety in the Department of Agriculture. He flew across Canada for eighteen years to ensure quality control on farms. Since retirement he is an esteemed Ottawa nutritional therapist. Few clients need to come back to him after he detects the root cause of any problem through mineral imbaalnces and levels of toxic metals evidenced in the four month excretment picture found in hair analysis similar to detecting climate change in silt layers. After one interview with Larry who uses hair analysis, his clients are treated with a true eye of a scientist, and few need to return to him once they follow his supplement program based on his forty years of doing analysis. He controls his own fibromyalgia this way to reduce changing bodily stresses with aging since retiring from government in 1997.
